Try the following exercise with someone you would like to build a closer connection with.
  • 1. Describe your perfect day.
  • 2. What are you most grateful for?
  • 3. What would you change in your life if you could?
  • 4. Share your life story in as much detail as you can in 5 minutes.
  • 5. What quality would you choose if you could gain it magically right now?
  • 6. What have you dreamed of doing for a long time but never done? Why not?
  • 7. In relationships, what do you value most?
  • 8. What memory do you treasure the most?
  • 9. Was your family of origin close and warm? Would you increase this and if yes or no, why?
  • 10. What would you like to feel safe to share about?
  • 11. What do you like about the person you are doing this exercise with?
  • 12. Are there topics that feel too serious to joke about?
  • 13. What do you cherish most – not including people or pets?
  • 14. Share a current struggle and ask for advice.
