Use Creativity to Disrupt a Reminder of Trauma or Fear Ask Dr Anna S.2.E.3 I believe you can create a Positive Anchor using a creativity approach that can disrupt you from triggering responses just like one of my clients with PTSD, recently accomplished. Steps include: 1. ID a precise trigger and use a creative project to anchor to the positive 2. Reinforce safety and security using a creative anchor to the positive 3. By writing out positive message you interrupt the fear response and reinforce safety 4. Create something tactile/physical that can reinforce the positive - taking you out of the trigger response Using creativity can be a powerful tool for interrupting a trigger to a fear.
