Why you MUST have FLOW in your Life!
Csíkszentmihályi
was the first to use the term FLOW to identify an experience of being fully immersed, energized and aligned with the current activity.
In this state, you are likely to feel joy, deep focus and to be so absorbed that you lose track of time.
We don't have FLOW when we are in a state of apathy, boredom or anxiety.
Csíkszentmihályi has said, "If challenges are too low, one gets back to flow by increasing them. If challenges are too great, one can return to the flow state by learning new skills."
SO HERE IS THE CHALLENGE AS YOU GROW!
1. Choose to challenge yourself by learning something new but achievable.
2. Immerse yourself in the activity by giving yourself adequate and unstructured time.
3. Move onto something new or a higher level of learning if you feel bored or unmotivated.
