I had to. I couldn't bear to spend anymore time being the person I was.

The person you wanted me to be.

You see the thing is in life people come and go.

Some people can't accept that you need to move on. You need to change.

I've had to change.

I've had to leave people behind, it's not a bad thing.

The reason I wanted to leave them behind is this....

They didn't want to get better.

They wanted to do what we'd always done.

Have the conversations we'd always had.

That shit bored me to tears.

Because I'd opened the door to a new world.

One that would push me, it would make me get better.

I know the real reason they didn't want to come.

FEAR.

But that wasn't stopping me, because I came to a realisation.

The fear of doing it was far LESS than the drive to achieve, to get what I wanted.

That drive changed me.

It's enabled me to meet people who are where I want to be, who've helped me along the way. It's made me a better and happier person.

They see me changing as a bad thing but their lives are boring.

Same thing day in day out. Wishing and dreaming they could make a change.

Without the drive to do it.
