This is a controversial topic, one that my haters have used to try and make out like I don’t know what I am doing for years. 

I don’t care whether you straight bet or trade. 

You see the goal for us all isn’t whether we trade or bet. The goal is to make money on Betfair in a disciplined, repeatable manner. 

Isn’t it? 

I mean you found trading because you wanted to make money, didn’t you? 

Not because you wanted to be a trader. 

So for me it doesn’t matter whether you build a betting strategy or a trading one, what matters to me is that you: 

• Build something that works for you - so that you can do it daily and weekly. 

• That fits around your life - so that you have time to do it! 

• That you enjoy.

• That’s repeatable.

• That makes you money. 

• That you can control your emotions doing. 

For some that’s trading, for others that’s betting or set and forget as it’s new sexy name is! 

So there you have it, my mini-rant over. 

I think it’s pretty hard to argue the fact that you want to make money on Betfair. The way you do it doesn’t matter as long as its controllable, disciplined and doesn’t affect you.
