Why focus on one strategy?
The first step in becoming a successful trader is getting one strategy, regardless of the market you trade on or the type of sport, it is about focusing on ONE and giving it all.
Traders email me and tell me, "my focus is on horse racing, but maybe I should be doing tennis, cricket, or football." The idea is to pick one and zero in on it, pick a market/sport and focus on it. Build a strategy for it, and if it doesn't work after you have given everything, I guarantee you that the data you have collected will have something for you to learn. The biggest thing you've given yourself is time to succeed, which is crucial, and you are time blocking that trading out.
When you have various strategies, it's like firing a shotgun that fires pellets, and depending on your distance, the further away you are, the harder it becomes to aim at your target. The chances of using one shot to hit your target are very minimal.Â

This analogy is the same with trading... zone in and prepare yourself.. AIM, FOCUS, FIRE🎯 You are more likely to hit your target with better focus.
Here are two reasons why ONE strategy will help you
1. It helps to put your energy on one thing and your focus is much better. Don't lose your focus by jumping in between trades. Maybe "somebody said it was a good trade," but it doesn't fit with your strategy.
I see many traders quit betting, and not because they are losing money. It is because they lack a strategy and are all over with different sports. They get fed up because they don't see any progress. Working with one approach helps you remain focused. You will see progress and gain forward momentum. Â
2. One strategy also helps you to avoid chasing the wrong things. Many traders choose the wrong things because of desperation for results. Focus helps eliminate distractions and ensures you give yourself more time to trade. Time block when to make your trades to become a happy successful trader with a better balance of your trading life.
