That’s how it started.

I was a bit taken aback by his opening line, the aggression in his tone.

I simply HAD to find out what this man was talking about. He proceeded to explain his anger that was directed towards me - of why I have no idea.

At this point I am trying to wonder what law I have broken, I know I went through a red light a few years back.

But I did the course, I’ve righted my wrong.

I try to be a good person. So what scandalous, revolting, unspeakable, shocking crime have I committed?

Now it turns out…

That I sent an email to somebody who signed up to my email list.

They told me ‘What the hell do I have to do to get you to stop sending me emails!’

Well first and foremost there’s the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email.

I’m no genius but I am sure if you click that then I will not email you again.

Meaning I won’t be making committing this heinous crime towards you again.

But I’d like to go a bit deeper into this…

At some point you joined MY list, I didn’t add you.

This is not a hostage situation. You can leave at any time.

How many people keep doing things they don’t like?

Frankly as well you are EXACTLY the kind of person I actively avoid in my life.

The reason he got really angry was because I emailed him about a YouTube video where I was explaining how I was using the Betfair Trading Community’s software to pretty amazing effect.

He said if I was any good of a trader I wouldn’t be selling this rubbish that doesn’t work?!

Erm how is telling you about a Youtube video trying to sell you something that doesn’t work?
