There will be an update to the horse racing software deployed in the early hours of tomorrow morning (16th May 2024).
Here are the fixes and features:
🏇 The return of the Favourite Price betting rule!
You'll be able to query on favourite prices in conjunction with your other betting rules. So for example you can place a bet on any horse if the favourite price is odds-on, or lay the 2nd fave at 10 minutes before race start if its price at that time is at least double the favourite price, etc.
This is a very intensive strategy rule and will slow a strategy down, but we've got the execution time down to an acceptable level.

🏇 Strategy builder styling improvements
We've reorganised the strategy builder a bit to make better use of the space and improve functionality on smaller screens.
It's now arranged in a full-width "stepper" and the horse selection rules in particular have been made a bit more compact and tidier. Will be interested to know what you all think when you get chance to play with it!

🏇 Turned handicap rule into a scope rule
You can now use the scope settings on this rule, so you can find horses running their first handicap race, etc.

🏇 Fixed a bug with the exit time calculation
In some cases, the exit point wasn't being calculated correctly, so instead of correctly registering the target exit or stop-loss, it would use the price at the very end of the defined time window.
This only affects a handful of people using specific settings, so I will message you if you're one of them and let you know which strategies to check after the fix has been applied.

🏇 Fixed a bug with the absolute entry time rule
In strategies using the absolute time window (i.e. clock time instead of relative to the race), there was a bug which caused the results to vary depending on the time of day you ran the strategy. This has been fixed so that you will get consistent results.

You'll be able to verify that your browser has picked up the update by viewing the Changelog in the software and checking that it has 16/05/2024 at the top and "v3.2.0".
If not, or if the page is completely blank, your browser has failed to pick up the new version. Try clearing your cache for our site AND clearing your cookies for our site, restart your browser, log back in and then access the software through the button on your user dashboard.
I'll post on the changelog thread on the forum in the morning when the update has been released.
