I recently wrote to members and ex members to find out what they would change about Betfair Trading Community, I wanted to do this so that I could get feedback on the service to see what as a team we can focus on the improve this service we have. I will list the threads below and then I will go into detail about the plans we have on the points as well. 

There was a lot of responses that I am going to go through in detail here. The topics were broken down into the follow trends mainly….. 

The feedback was a lot of people saying that the service should be free, as a business we offer a hell of a lot of free content on our blog, podcast and YouTube channel - as a service we offer even more personal service on the inside of the members area, firstly we are on hand to help and guide you through trading - where else can you get this kind of support for £29.99 on trading? We show up in the forum, we don’t just chuck you in there and leave you we actively read your posts and contribute to your development. 

We also have stats software, this costs us money to run and to develop and build upon therefore we cannot simply give it away. 

2) Statistics software 

The feedback here was on this is presented, we didn’t get anymore feedback other than the words they way the stats software is presented, if you sent this feedback in please can you email us info@betfairtradingcommunity.com and give us some more in-depth feedback on how you think we can improve this as we are determined to be the best site there is.

3) Videos 

The feedback here was that you guys want more videos on two matters, tennis and strategy. We are now working a plan to add this in to the site, we have a plan to do more strategy videos anyway which is timely that we got this email. 

4) Interface 

Very similar to the stats software, if you provided this then please get in touch and let us know what you don’t like about the interface - we do have some plans to change this and make it more user friendly so it would be good to get your views because you have used the site. 

5) Recording results 

This was for results on the information we have provided in the daily email and beta testing filters on the site, Martin is doing a great job on this and is tracking the information that we provide and keeping this in a google sheet. For those members tracking their own results as well we have created a members results sheet (beta) for football results which has a lot of information on the game after the match so you can compare your pre match stats to the post match result - if you are a member and didn’t know we had this or where its stored drop us a message. 

We are also working on back testing software for the three main sports - Horse Racing, Tennis & Football. 

6) Horse racing stats software 

This is currently being built, we are about to hire a developer to join the team as well (Let us know if you are or know one). Currently we are rebuilding the whole server again so we can give even more detailed stats to you guys and also so we can cover more sports and build this faster. We are planning to add back testing software as well. 

7) Forum 

The main piece of feedback was a scoring system or way of spotting experienced traders. We currently have badges on the forum that you can award to people and they will be shown under their posts so you can see their skills, we do have plans to make this even better so that it will be easier to spot who is an experienced trader and what those people skills are, in the interim we are doing a meet the members series of blog posts on the blog which will showcase the members so you will be able to get to know them better. 

Overall we got a lot of good feedback on why people loved the site, this was the main ones where people want us to improve and I have detailed what we have or what we are doing to combat this.
