Subject: hey Friend, DIY KIT downloads are back!
Hi Friend!
I hope you had a good weekend! I just got back from Nashville, and had great visits with Brent Mason, as well as the owner of visual sound - Bob Weil. I was able to try out the newest versions of the visual sound pedals---very, very nice! In fact, I bought the newest version of the jeckyll & hyde pedal! Brent (Mason) traded me his old (stock) BD-2 Blues Driver for my own personal ts-9...kind of hard to turn someone of that caliber down! :) It would be sort of like telling Michael Jordan that he wasn't able to play basketball with MY basketball! Or, telling Satriani that he wouldn't be able to play my guitar...you know what I mean?! :)
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that the new DIY KITS at guitartone.net are available for download now! Yep--they are back! Some of them are even free now! Here's the link if you want to check it out: DIY KIT DOWNLOAD or http://www.guitartone.net/download-mods.htm?nwslttr604
I'll be adding more all week, so keep checking back if you don't see what your looking for.
Also, I received probably the best boost pedal I've ever played on--better than the bad bob, zvex sho, catalinbread...seriously--this thing blew me away!! Very full and warm, and is even able to add some gain with the adjustable knob--sounds and (best of all) FEELS like the power tubes are COOKIN'! It's made by one of our very own newsletter members, Tim Jauernig! Tim has graciously allowed me to get my hands on several of them, and I'll have a few of them on hand if any of you would like to check one out--YOU'LL LOVE IT! Greg Koch (monster player) is using one of these too! The pedal is $90, which is cheaper than any clean/dirty boost of this caliber!
Sorry for the long winded email--have a good week!! :)
Thanks,
Brian
