"Fuzz pedals have always intrigued me because they seem to exhibit a
wider variation in color, feel, and intensity. So, when Wampler sent PGS a
prototype of the Velvet Fuzz, I was sure that I could find an application for it.
Initially, I remember thinking this would fit right in with silky smooth EJ tones
or epic Gilmour leads. It just has that magic sound of fuzz running into a big
ol’ British tube amp. However, once I got my hands on the final version and
discovered the Big and Tight modes, the possibilities just opened up.

For the demo, the whole recording process just came together in no time
at all. The compression and smoothness allows the Velvet Fuzz to sit right
where you want it in the mix and I found a subtle tweak of the Brightness
allowed plenty of distinction when double tracking. I think the video demo
speaks for itself and shows just how much fun I had with the Velvet Fuzz."
