I've been writing the 'amp book' that many newsletter members have been
asking me about and I wanted to give you a little snippet of a mod on an
amp I did for the book.

Let me preface with this...this new book on amp mods is NOT anything like
you've seen from anyone else. Many other books concentrate on fender and/or
marshall amps. I want to be different.

Enter the CRATE Blue Voodoo (or Blue poo-poo as it's known to some). Known
to be a heavy metal player's amp, I wanted to turn it into something more
versatile. Here's a quick soundclip:

* Equipment: Crate head, ran into the an eminence speaker in an open back
fender hot rod deluxe cabinet (using just the cabinet and speaker). OLD
tubes, fender strat, and NO effects.

These are simple mods that anyone can do too! Stay tuned for the book. ;)
