I just wanted to take a minute and send you a quick message... I owe you an apology.

You see, yesterday we released a pedal, the Germanium Tumnus, which ended up selling out completely before I had time to send out an email to the newsletter list regarding it. Apparently the wonderful folks at Andertons Music released a video earlier in the morning (eastern time zone here), and by the time I woke up we were nearly sold out of the first batch. My video went live right about the time I woke up and we sold out the second batch.

This sent me and the rest of my team scrambling - there was SO much traffic and purchases that we didn't anticipate, and this caused quite a lot of issues that we had to address immediately. We only had a limited number of germanium diodes sourced for this pedal so very quickly we had to stop taking "pre-orders". With all of this chaos I didn't get a chance to send an email to you letting you know about the release, and for that I'm deeply sorry, It's my fault that I didn't anticipate this overwhelming response properly.

I do want you to know that your interest in Wampler and our pedals is INCREDIBLY important to me. Without you, there is no Wampler, and I'm very appreciative of you.

Going forward I will make SURE that on release day I set up a scheduled email to go out early morning eastern time to make sure no one is left out - that is never, ever my intention.
