Subject: Hi Friend - amp mod soundclips, ARTICLE: "How tube amps work"

Hi Friend Exciting news! Last week I told you we had developed some amp mods, specifically for the Peavey Classic amps. This week we finished modifications on a Fender Blues Junior. I have finished some soundclips if you want to listen to the soundclips: Peavey Classic 50: http://www.indyguitarist.com/soundclips2/peavey_classic_compare.mp3 Fender Blues Junior: http://www.indyguitarist.com/soundclips2/blues_junior_compare.mp3 Fender Blues Junior through a 2x12 open back cabinet: http://www.indyguitarist.com/soundclips2/blues_jr-2x12cab.mp3 *********************************************** AMP DIY MODS I've been getting several folks ask me if I will be doing a DIY modification package for amps. Actually, I'm not sure. It is very easy to hurt or even kill yourself when working with tube amps, they are a different animal than effect pedals. For me to modify your own Fender Blues Jr. amp, it would be $175 + shipping and handling (probably about $35 or so for shipping). Keep in mind that these prices won't be this cheap for long - many 'amp modders' are charging $300 for mods - AND shipping on top of it! *********************************************** ARTICLE THIS WEEK: Ever wondered how Tube amps work? http://www.indyguitarist.com/temp/how%20tube%20amps%20work.pdf from www.ax84.com *********************************************** Have a great week Friend, Brian http://www.indyguitarist.com/ http://www.guitartone.net/
