* How to make money off of my diy kits
--first, go to http://www.guitartone.net/affs.html and sign up as an affiliate. This will give you a
link that we you will use in the next steps.
--Once you have the link you will put at several places. Some good ideas are:
-Your 'about me' page at ebay -- many, many, people check this out! Here is that link:
http://cgi3.ebay.com/ws2/eBayISAPI.dll?AboutMeLogin
-Put it in your 'signature' if you post at messageboards/forums or chatrooms.
-If you have a website, you will need to put the link on there
-get fr--ee businesscards printed up with your link, and put them at musicstores when you go there.
(bus cards available at www.vistaprint.com)
--That's just getting started -- you will be mailed a check every 2 weeks through clickbank. Now, I'm not saying
you'll get rich (I'm realistic), but you will gain some great cash to buy guitars/pedals/amps, etc with!
--And obviously, the better you market the diy kits, the bigger your check will be -- for example, instead of just
typing the link in the signature, I suggest using one of the following examples, if you're having trouble
coming up with your own:
~ Turn your $40 pedal into a $400 sounding pedal! Click here! (insert your link here)
~ Turn your wimpy sounding distortion or overdrive pedal into a monsterous sounding pedal-click Here!
(insert your link here)
~ Audio guide and ebook shows you how to set your pedals to get great guitar tone! Click Here to check it
out (insert link here)
I'm sure you get the point--In fact, I'll tell you what. For every sell you get, I'll give YOU a diy kit for
fr**ee -- simply forward your clickbank payment to me, and what pedal you want to mod, and for the next couple
of weeks, I'll GIVE you a diy kit of your choice!

* Want to hang out with me? Better yet -- want to meet and hang out with Brent Mason?
I will be in Nashville, Tennessee on Tuesday November 2, and Wednesday November 3. Tuesday evening Brent will
be gigging at a place called 'third and lindsley' in Nashville -- I will be there with him, and I invite you to
come hang out with us! In fact, you will be able to 'pre-order' the New Brent Mason interview, and book coming
out next week! I'm only able to get a limited number of the books printed, so I HIGHLY recommend pre-ordering
yours asap, if you would like one. I'm amazed at the demand I've had for it!
Here is the website for third and lindsley: http://www.3rdandlindsley.com/ -- check out the site for directions,
and don't miss it -- cover is $10, and 'The Players' will start at 9:30. Paul Franklin, Brent Mason, Eddie Bayers,
Michael Rhodes, and John Hobbs (the 'a' list of the 'a' list in nashville) will be there playing as well!
This is a highly intimate setting -- every seat is a great seat (its a small venue), and all the players
(including Brent) will walk around between sets, hang out, sit down and talk to you for a bit. Must be 21 to get in.

* New Diy mods: Boss sd-1, crybaby wah, vox wah
The boss sd-1...Oh. My. Goodness. If you've been around indyguitarist.com for long, you'll know I love tubescreamer
based pedals. I have come up a totally new, original mod for the sd-1 -- I guarantee you haven't seen anything like
this! This makes the sd-1 SO much fuller - and just so BIG. If I had to compare it with anything, it would be
Alf Hermida's Mosferatu. (Great pedal, btw).
Also, Mike Fuller of Fulltone sent me a nice "cease and desist' type email this week -- I obviously have started
taking some of his profit with the invention of my f*lltone f*lldrive mods on the sd-1, and I have ticked off Mike
Fuller, obviously, by judging from the 'nice' email he sent me, now that he's worried about little 'ole' me! (hehe!)
Unfortunately, Mike is angry that I know his fulldrive is an expensive modded tubescreamer, which is what my sd-1 mod
more or less is, minus about $140. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Mike is a great guy, I'm just suprised at such
a hateful email directed at me, Indyguitarist.com, when he runs such a huge operation, and I'm basically just a
little guy.
Anyway, if you liked the f@lltone mods, you'll absolutely LOVE the new mod --
I'm not sure what to call it yet, but here is a soundclip:
