Hopefully, you got a chance to explore your free membership to Practical Stealth Traffic yesterday (if you didn’t...here’s the link one more time )   

In 2015 we welcomed our first grandbaby into the world. Thoughts really started leaping to leaving a legacy for the family. Our friends had often said, we should pass on our knowledge and wisdom gained over the years to others. So, we decided to build an online business that would allow us to do just that.

When we started out, there were a couple of “how-to” guides we picked up that promised we could master internet marketing with a couple of “easy buttons.”

We bet that just about every email you open has the newest, brightest, easiest method to do something magical. But they often don’t produce what was promised, do they?

Ya know easy buttons are like those magical unicorns. Yeah, we haven’t found that easy button either.

Then we connected with a couple of mentors, who showed us the foundational pieces we needed to set up an internet business. We dove in, learned the tech ins and out of Internet marketing, built a presence on social media, and posted great content on a regular basis. We worked hard and set up fabulous sites filled with content.

And after spending time building a list, we discovered that the list just wasn’t producing.

We remember how depressed and discouraged we were when it happened to us.

We were struck with frustration and disappointment and didn’t know what to do about it. But we figured that the quicker we addressed the problem, the faster we could begin getting new sales. It was up to us to make some changes. It meant we had to listen and learn new techniques from the masters and tweak our business.

We peeled back the layers of the business that weren’t productive and built it right this time. We learned genuine long-term growth techniques that helped turn our business around.

The truth is it can be intimidating but don't let that stop you from learning and perfecting new traffic getting techniques. No matter how great your products are, it's impossible to force customers to buy from you.
