YES IN AUGUST
NO IN NOVEMBER

My dear brothers and sisters, you may be aware that radical out-of-state pro-abortion groups are attempting to change our constitution in Ohio. They seek to make abortion legal up to birth, throughout all nine months of pregnancy, along with permitting sex-change surgeries, sex-change hormones, sterilization, and any so-called "reproductive decision" as a constitutional right for individuals of any age. The proposed Amendment lacks specificity regarding age.
This proposed change would eliminate and prohibit any requirements for parental notification, consent, or involvement concerning these so-called reproductive decisions and sexual treatments for minors. It is an extreme and radical measure that we must defeat, period.
So, what can we do? First and foremost, we must pray for the Holy Spirit to come upon our state, soften hearts and minds, and align us with God's will. This is not a mere political issue; it is a moral one—a gospel of life issue.
Secondly, we should consider fasting. While it may be challenging as many of us enjoy eating, fasting holds tremendous power, as our Lord has taught.
Thirdly, we need to spread the news about the extreme nature of this proposed amendment on social media and inform others. Awareness is crucial.
Lastly, exercising our right to vote is an obligation as citizens of this state. I recommend voting "Yes" to protect life and uphold parental rights. Let us remember that in August, we should vote "Yes" and in November, "No." Life and parental rights are at stake, and we must stand up for them.
Let us not be deceived or swayed. We must be resolute in defending life. I have had enough, and I urge you all to pray for the best outcome, to go out and vote.

GOSPEL | Matthew 13:44-52
Jesus said to his disciples:
"The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure buried in a field,
which a person finds and hides again,
and out of joy goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant
searching for fine pearls.
When he finds a pearl of great price,
he goes and sells all that he has and buys it.
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net thrown into the sea,
which collects fish of every kind.
When it is full they haul it ashore
and sit down to put what is good into buckets.
What is bad they throw away.
Thus it will be at the end of the age.
The angels will go out and separate the wicked from the righteous
and throw them into the fiery furnace,
where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.
"Do you understand all these things?"
They answered, "Yes."
And he replied,
"Then every scribe who has been instructed in the kingdom of heaven
is like the head of a household
who brings from his storeroom both the new and the old."

Jesus says the Kingdom of God is like a woman who lost something in the field and goes to great lengths to find it.
How cool is that?
It shows that when you truly desire something, you'll do anything for it. When I wanted to pursue music, I was willing to do whatever was legal and moral to achieve that goal. Similarly, when I became a Catholic Christian, I was all in. I was ready to read the Church Fathers, study the Scriptures, and delve into the lives of the saints.
You may have noticed my untrimmed hair and beard, which is a monastic practice where grooming is done in an ascetical way, focusing on purpose rather than appearance. In the East, they never cut their hair or beard, while in the West, it varied. But let me tell you, if they had asked me to shave my eyebrows, shave my head, cut my beard, and wear purple, I would have done it without hesitation. That's how deeply I wanted to dedicate my life to Jesus Christ, and that desire remains unchanged.
Every morning, I wake up and ask myself what I truly want, knowing that I face various temptations just like anyone else. Worldly, selfish, carnal, and egotistical things might try to pull me away, but when I ponder it, I realize they aren't what I genuinely desire. My heart is set on selling everything I have to gain the pearl of great price, which is Jesus Christ.
My prayer for you is that you too possess this kind of dedication and love. Just as we do anything for someone we fall in love with, let us be head over heels in love with God through Jesus. Give your life completely to Christ, become His disciple, and be willing to sell everything to follow Him. The beauty of it is that He will give you more in return than you can ever imagine. All things are possible with God.
