| | Around the same time we saw photos of our beautiful grandchild, Magdalena, Lila Rose shared footage of one of her peers. The same age. Only unlike Magdalena, lifeless. Horribly disfigured. Disgarded. Two children representing two visions of America. Before every governing body and soul, the simple question: “Which will we choose?” Even more, at the very foundation of very frail political and social structures: Who are we?
This moment is a referendum on who we are. Because how we treat others is invariably a reflection of ourselves. Are we Something alive and beautiful, or lifeless and horribly disfigured? Are we Something to be held in a loving embrace, cherished, shared and celebrated, or concealed and discarded?
In deep depths of this Mordor, our truest, unsurpassed identity cannot be squelched. Can not be silenced. Can not be extinguished. Can not be disregarded. Reverberating throughout all of history, the truth: |

With the question of abortion now before us we stand in the luminous light of history that will be judged by generations yet to be born. Not unike Aragorn haunted by fear of ancestral failure in response to great evil, the decision has passed to us. You and me. Inescapably. “All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.” (Gandalf) Before principalities and powers our voice was given for now. “For such a time as this.” (Esther 4:14)
Accordingly, beautiful little child now worshiping before heaven’s Throne, you are not nameless! You are not knownless! We name you “Esther.” And along with the resounding chorus of millions of souls who have perished in the dark clouds of Satan’s malaise, in this moment, in this very hour, we beseech you to raise your voices before the heavenly Throne that the Father’s love be manifest throughout this earth! That the Woman and Her Seed crush the head of the serpent! (Gen. 3:15) That His Kingdom come. Through us!
