MISSION 2024:
Heaven Come to Earth
Here is a simple plan for success in 2024:
Make time with a notebook and prayerfully consider:
(1) Next year at this time, what are ways you'd like to say you really grew and succeeded?
(2) What commitments are you making to get you there?
Begin with prayer. Ask the Holy Spirit to be present and make clear God's plan for you. How does He want to work? What gifts does He want to give you?
Be specific. Identify how each commitment will be measured. In addition to work, school and the other usuals, consider the most important: Your interior life. Such as being set free from anxiety, or in difficult conversations responding instead of reacting. Consider what difference it would make if you succeeded. Specify your plan, and what it will take to succeed. Consider what might stand in the way, and what it would take to overcome.
Without considering such questions, we're missing out. We're languishing. They're likely not "just going to happen." God made us for mission. He dignified us to accomplish it. We have to do our part. In the context of missioned friendship. That's what we're about. Discovering and living more fully our amazing nature in the Holy Trinity through this ordinary earth.
We declare it: This next year can be the very best of your life!
