| Three Amazing Days of Grace
Greetings in Christ Dear Friends!
Which of us are not pining for greater peace, restoration, encouragement, strength? That's the invitation by Jesus Christ in this week's Gospel. He speaks of a King inviting beloved guests to a wedding feast, to be flooded with His blessings. But none of them want to come. And some come not rightly disposed to receive.
So, real simple. We want to invite you to three amazing days of grace. The Franciscan Friars of the Renewal will be with us for a special IGNITE on Friday, November 3 (REG), and Sanctus: Eucharistic Family Revival on Saturday, November 4 (REG), and a special Belief & Beverage Night for our benefactors on Sunday, November (REG).
So blessed to be united with you in building the Kingdom!

GOSPEL | Matthew 22:1-14 Jesus again in reply spoke to the chief priests and elders of the people in parables, saying, "The kingdom of heaven may be likened to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son. He dispatched his servants to summon the invited guests to the feast, but they refused to come. A second time he sent other servants, saying, 'Tell those invited: "Behold, I have prepared my banquet, my calves and fattened cattle are killed, and everything is ready; come to the feast."' Some ignored the invitation and went away, one to his farm, another to his business. The rest laid hold of his servants, mistreated them, and killed them. The king was enraged and sent his troops, destroyed those murderers, and burned their city. Then he said to his servants, 'The feast is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy to come. Go out, therefore, into the main roads and invite to the feast whomever you find.' The servants went out into the streets and gathered all they found, bad and good alike, and the hall was filled with guests. But when the king came in to meet the guests, he saw a man there not dressed in a wedding garment. The king said to him, 'My friend, how is it that you came in here without a wedding garment?' But he was reduced to silence. Then the king said to his attendants, 'Bind his hands and feet, and cast him into the darkness outside, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.' Many are invited, but few are chosen."

with JOHN MICHAEL TALBOT Today, we have the parable of inviting people to the wedding feast, and it's really quite simple. Jesus tells us to invite people to come to the wedding feast, which in other words means to come and follow Jesus, enter the kingdom, and give your life to Christ. However, many people come up with excuses, saying they got married or need to bury a loved one or have other pressing matters. They postpone their commitment to Jesus, thinking they'll get serious later.
Jesus advises us not to delay and instead go out to the highways and the byways, inviting everyone ready to come. This illustrates the point that we should not make excuses for following Jesus and not put off what we can do today. It's essential to be wise but not procrastinate. We must leave behind our selfishness and follow Jesus.
Furthermore, when we decide to follow Him, we should be properly dressed, meaning we should approach it with great humility, love, reverence, awe, and joy because we are coming to serve the Son of God, the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords. Therefore, we should not only eliminate excuses but also be appropriately attired in our hearts and spirits.
So, let's not make excuses, invite others to follow Jesus, and come properly attired with the right attitude. If you struggle to find people to join you in following Jesus, remember Jesus wants His house to be full. So, invite everyone you can to join us in following Jesus, whether in the Brothers and Sisters of Charity or within the church. That's my prayer for you all, as I love you, and remember, all things are possible with God.
