Going through my photos this morning following morning prayer I was mystified by this photo. It's on my phone, but I did not take it. A senior moment? Our daughter, Catherine, then appeared. I vaguely remembered her taking my phone and disappearing for a brief moment a few days ago.
SHE EXPLAINED that she'd become aware at a certain time of day (May 21, 8:21P) the sun streaming through the trees and specifically painting Jesus on our wall. Which we honor every night ascending to bed, and every morning as we greet the day.
HOW MANY MYSTERIES ARE LIKE THAT? Something of deep meaning and consequence happens, but it does not paint our lives until we're meant to see it? How many of us throughout generations will on this day see and experience the power of something that has always been; benefit from what God has done for us 2,000 years ago?
Healing. Transformation. Revival. Purpose.
THERE'S ANOTHER PART OF THIS. Do not cease being God's light to your family and the world around you. Keep shining. Regardless of response. They likely will not see right away, but when they are meant, they will find themselves in a magnificence radiating in the Glory of Eternal Ages.
FROM THE EARLIEST RAY OF MORNING LIGHT through the end of the day and beyond, may our lives be illuminated by the Cross of Jesus Christ Who holds us in existence, in Whom we find all meaning and purpose, radiating to the world.
