What would life be without the deep, meaningful friendships that shape us? Think of Aibileen and Minny from The Help, where their bond becomes a source of strength, resilience, and solidarity as they navigate the painful realities of life. Add Frodo and Samwise, Forest Gump and Bubba, Sherlock and Dr. Watson.... These iconic friendships resonate with us because they speak to our deepest longing—to be known, understood, and truly valued by those we journey with.
This yearning for friendship is at the heart of our identity in the Trinity. Beyond the messages we hear at church, in podcasts, or at events, each of us craves lasting, meaningful relationships to navigate life together. To become the best versions of ourselves. We’ve been so moved by how this has come to life over the past decade, and in particular the past weeks.
Over the last few weeks, we’ve been leading our Mission One series in our home, welcoming couples of all ages—from newly engaged to those with decades of marriage under their belt. Together, we’ve committed to a 5-week journey, diving deeper into the nature and mission of the Holy Trinity, inspired by the teachings of Pope Saint John Paul II.
This series has been a transformative experience, revealing the untapped treasures of marriage and family life. We are seeing couples awaken to the power of daily prayer, learning to listen to God’s voice and cultivate relationships that truly matter. These weekly gatherings are more than just events—they’re opportunities to build the habits of encounter and friendship that will bear lasting fruit. We’ve seen firsthand how these deep relationships impact everything: from personal decision-making and overcoming challenges to healing and growing in love for our families. The legacy we build through these friendships is one we long to pass down to our children.
We’ll also continue hosting our men’s and women’s evenings, where sages share from our community impart the wisdom they would give their younger selves—experiences that have already touched so many hearts.
