A Great Story In the doctor's office a woman recognized Stephanie from an event we did many moons ago. At our mini-parish missions we circle up families and lead a blend of fun interaction, introducing them to the weekly Live IT Gathering. Murphy's Law was definitely at play! The overall experience was something quite south of the usual exuberance.
So it was with great delight this woman shared: "My husband was so resistant to anything having to do with the Church. Your retreat and the LIT Guide opened the door for him to take the first step to become Catholic!"
Stories like this are the wind in our sails. Like the Muslim woman who converted to Christianity. And incarcerated men at a prison-version of IGNITE. And testimonies of doctor-verifiable miracles, like a woman healed of a terminal illness after being prayed over. But mostly, the innumerable families who give witness to children who joyfully own their Catholic faith into adulthood.
This is consequential. So many national Catholic leader-friends continue to affirm that this movement is an answer to the big question following any faith event: "Now what?" We provide the vision, plan, tools and ongoing accompaniment helping families make their homes a saint-making culture. A place of ever-deepening encounter.
How we do it. The core is our weekly LIVE IT Gathering Guide, encouraging families to "put a flag in the sand" on a weekly basis, to gather for meaningful conversation and prayer. This is bolstered by amazing "Mission One" retreats for couples. Our IGNITE Radio Live radio program and podcast was named by Spotify "one of the top podcasts." Our partners have been blessed by Belief & Beverage Nights with world-class speakers.
For ten years we have not ceased regular events, even during the height of COVID, including IGNITE, Presence for Christmas, and parish retreats. We are now preparing monthly "Catholic Revival" events that will lead into a diocesan-sponsored event we're leading called Sanctus: Eucharistic Family Revival, featuring the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal (November 3-4).
We need your help. We are a very streamlined, fully-accountable, non-profit (501c3) movement walking in faith. We truly rely upon faith-filled Catholic "missioned friends." At present, that's about 50 monthly partners, many of whom have been there from the beginning. That covers about 50% of expenses... with a ton of prayer and wisdom!
We would be so grateful if right now you might join us, at any level, by monthly partnership or one-time gift, to help us reach that 100% mark. So we can focus completely on mission and take this movement even farther. Now more than ever there is an urgent need to build up marriage and family. Please pray about how God may be speaking to your heart to support this mission. We would love to discuss any of this with you at any time!
Thank you for your prayerful consideration. God bless you and your family.
