| We have been very fortunate lately to have been the recipient of several donations that I would like to acknowledge. You may have noticed that we now have a circulating cake pan collection. In it are many different shapes to celebrate all kinds of occasions from birthdays to holidays and even basic shapes. All these pans were donated by local home bakers. They were thoroughly washed and are waiting for use at your next bash. |
| A big thank you to Slalom Consulting in Hartford for the donation of high-top tables and chairs. You'll see these on the far-left side of the library when you enter, right under the windows. Whether you sit or stand at them, you'll have an outside view for your contemplation.
Finally, we are so grateful to an anonymous donor for their cash contribution of $5,000. This money was gifted to us to be used for programming for all ages. The Adult, Teen and Children's Departments are excited to use this money to bring quality programs to all.
Have a safe and happy July!
