| As we begin our 25th year of ministry I am humbled and grateful for the support of so many people across this great country. Thanks to your generous financial support, International Healing Foundation (IHF) finished strong in 2014!
So many of you reading this made that possible. Thank you!

| Even though we have had a great start to 2015, there is much more to do. In his State of the Union address last week, President Obama said: “That’s why we defend free speech, and advocate for political prisoners, and condemn the persecution of women, or religious minorities, or people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender . . . I’ve seen something like gay marriage go from a wedge issue that used to drive us apart to a story of freedom across our country, a civil right now legal in states that seven in ten Americans call home.” |
| Sadly, our President just doesn’t get it! While the rights of the LGBT community are more protected than ever, men, women, and children with unwanted same-sex attractions are still under attack every day!
Freedom means equal opportunity for all, not just some! Sadly, our leaders in Washington, D.C. are blind to the fact that not everyone who experiences SSA identifies themselves as gay. Sadly, these individuals are not being supported and protected!
Because of this reality, those with unwanted SSA are often scared to ask for help, because they are afraid about the oppression they will face because they do not accept what society says is “normal”. They do want to embrace a gay identity, like American culture says they should. It’s incredibly confusing!
We receive calls every week from people asking for help. Unfortunately, we receive many more requests for help than we have time and personnel. It saddens my heart to have to say no to anyone. Many of these requests come from women who want help for their unwanted same-sex attraction, but we don’t have a trained therapist on staff to help all of them.
One of our goals for 2015 is to hire a full-time female therapist!
With your help, we can say YES to those who call for help. With your financial support, we can hire a full-time female therapist who can bring healing to women. I ask you to consider what you can give to help us bring healing and wholeness to a segment of society that doesn’t accept what the President believes. Can I count on your support?
2015 looks to be a year of growth for IHF. Any amount you can give to help us help others is greatly appreciated. Sincerely,
|
