Subject: Your Truth is calling you.

Take the call.

If life is not as you hoped it would be...

I love this quote.

"When we follow the herd we get further and further from ourselves. When we don’t ask what WE want, we remove ourselves from our joy. We move ourselves away from our wholeness, from our freedom, our purpose. The things we choose to do when we love ourselves tend to be simple. We think it’s going to be big and dramatic but usually the things that make us truly happy, our inner truth, is simple living and being." - Aisha Salem

I think we mostly follow the herd because we don't know there's another option.

We don't really know it's allowed to do what WE want.

And we don't know what we want anyway, because we don't ask ourselves.

And then our life feels pointless or disappointing. It doesn't meet our deepest needs.

The feeling that your life is not quite as you’d hoped it would be, or that there’s something missing, is a call from your heart to please stop and listen.

Your Truth is trying to contact you.

Take the call.

We each have a ‘knowing’ inside ourselves, and if you feel bland or disappointed about your life in any way, it means you’re not fully listening to yours—you have important needs that are currently not being met.

To find out what your Truth is, ask the question, “If I loved myself, what would I choose to do now”? or ask, “What do I really need now?”

Ask this about every situation in your life that you feel less than delighted about.

Then listen to the answers that emerge within you. Speak them, write it out, meditate, journal, travel your inner terrain ...

And most of all, follow your own guidance.

No one can know Truth for anyone else.

If you want to find your joy, you can only do so by following your inner knowing of what you deeply need and taking steps to meet those needs.

When we ask ourselves the Love question, the answer that emerges may sound totally unrealistic at first.

Your response might be, What? How can I change my career, go traveling, apply for the promotion, become an artist, end my marriage, make time for meditation ...?!

Don’t worry about making huge changes right away.

Mountains are not climbed in one or two leaps. There are many, many steps to get to the top, and if it’s a big mountain, it takes more steps.

Also, right now you may think you need to climb the whole mountain, but often as you start to make small changes, the big things shift in unexpected and surprisingly satisfying ways.

Whatever life-mountain faces you, the Love question will guide you to the ideal small steps to climb it.

What does the Love question do?

It directs us to the exact point where we are currently overriding our Truth or compromising ourselves in some way.

All the answers you get from your Truth will be right—and realistic—for you.

Bigger Truths will be offered to you already broken down into smaller manageable portions.

When I say step-by-step guidance, I really mean it.

Try it and see.

If you loved yourself, what would you choose to do now?
