Subject: You can get it wrong.

Messing up and self-love.

Getting it 'wrong' is fine.

Sometimes its really difficult to act on what you know is your Truth.

You know what you want to be able to do, and you think you keep getting it wrong...

But there’s really no textbook right or wrong way to live and learn.

We all do it differently.

It may seem as though you're not managing to overcome some huge hurdle in your life because you keep tripping over it...

But the fact that you've even signed up for a weekly letter like this one tells me that you are on your Truth journey.

Trying, learning and communicating with yourself IS self-love.

This self-love stuff is something many of us have had to learn from scratch.

Taking actions to meet our needs is not always easy—especially when our needs were ignored in our childhood.

But if you keep asking the Love question at every little choice, you will feel increasingly good about yourself - regardless of whether the outcome looks ‘right’ or not— or how quickly you get there.

Just asking yourself what you need, already meets the need to be treated with care and respect.

The thing to remember, is this:

Listening for your Truth, and slowly working your way towards living it, IS already a self-loving choice.

Sometimes just listening to and acknowledging your own Truth is the most self-loving choice available because you can't act on it yet.

It doesn't mean you're getting it 'wrong'.

And if you are, that's fine too.

The journey of life is not about ‘getting it right’ or reaching a desired outcome.

Once you get to where you want to go, a new desire emerges anyway.

So you may as well relax into the journey itself.

The question isn’t, “Am I getting it right and does it look good to others?”

It’s “Am I loving myself with what I am choosing right now?"

There are many reasons it might be difficult for you to follow your Truth.

So be gentle with yourself as you try.

Then you are actually already living your self-loving truth.

If you loved yourself, what kind words might you say to yourself about your choices so far?

I send you this I Love Myself Letter every Wednesday morning so that in the middle of the week you get a loving reminder to listen to your own Truth and ask yourself the Love Question!
