Subject: The fish stinks from the head.

Calling all doctors, psychologists, healers...

Have you heard this expression?

"The fish stinks from the head."

Kind of gross, but true.

It’s a Hebrew expression.

It means that when something’s fishy in a system, the problematic attitudes and behaviours usually start at the top and filter down to those below.

Like when a child speaks disrespectfully, he probably heard it from someone he sees as an authority – parents, older child, movie character, Youtuber…

Or you know how it is when you’re in a shop and you can just see that the general attitude of the employees is that they really don’t care about you, the customer…?

I always think it’s possibly a sign of how they are treated by their employer.

It works the other way too though.

A caring and inspiring leader creates wonderful ripples in his or her systems, right? You can feel when an environment is a happy one. It affects everyone around.

So lately I got to thinking about all of the healers out there helping us through this crazy time.

The doctors and nurses, psychologists, social workers, therapists, coaches, counsellors, acupuncturists and healers who are in charge of our collective wellbeing...

These are people we look up to and admire and seek out when we need help.

And who they are as people, and how they behave, affects us.

Because if we model ourselves on people we admire and those people are not making self-loving choices in their own lives so they're miserable and burnt-out…

How does that affect us?

It’s been a tough time for the carers in the world during this pandemic.

There’s been so much fear, pain, loss and crisis to contain and support.

And it hasn’t ended yet.

We health-care practitioners and healers REALLY need to practice what we preach right now and look after ourselves. It's imperative.

So, I’m taking action.

And I need your help to spread the word so that as many doctors and healers get this support.

You can change the world by helping the therapists and helpers.

This is what I’m doing…

I’m creating a dedicated space for the healers in our world to learn to love themselves more.

I’m SO excited about it I keep bouncing about in delight.

Really. I do actually bounce.

Introducing my new course:

'How To Love Yourself In Your Decisions: Tools for healthcare practitioners.'

AND it's official!! This course has been accredited by HPCSA and ICF for up to whole year’s continuing professional education (CPD / CCE) credits!

34CPD points (including 7 Ethics) from HPCSA and 31 CCE from ICF.

Bounce! Bounce!

So to launch it, I’m starting it off with a FREE introductory training starting 23rd August. It's only available for free until 8 September so don't procrastinate.

If you’re a carer, do yourself a favour and sign up for the free training.

It's not just an annoying teaser for the main course.

You know those ones...

It's not like that.

You'll learn exactly how to use a powerful five-step method to make good, self-loving decisions at work and in your life.

Please send this on to any health-care professional and healer you know.

We need our healers to love themselves.

For all of our sakes.
