When you ask yourself the Love Question and you get some sort of answer, you'll also get feelings in response to your answer.
These feelings are triggered by your autonomic nervous system.
You see, the thing is, that while you consider your options, your amygdala assesses each one for danger.
When you turn toward the option that gives you the highest chance of thriving, your system floods you with feel-good chemicals and your autonomic nervous system relaxes as it receives the all-clear.
Pleasant sensations are the thumbs-up from your system—your inner guidance saying ‘yes’.
When you turn away from your best option for thriving, your system sets off the alarm and floods you with stress chemicals and mild to intense discomfort in the form of stress, anxiety, reluctance, anger ...
Many of us live with these unpleasant feelings and think it’s normal.
It’s not.
It's actually your loving inner guidance, your heart, telling you that you’re going off-track.
Listen to them!
Your body is your partner and it’s talking to you all the time.
When you learn its language, life gets so much simpler.
I've put together a dictionary of your body's language to help you know when your body is telling you ‘yes’ or ‘no’.
Symptoms you experience when your inner guidance is saying, ‘No’ or 'I don't like that' or 'Not that way':
• Anxiety
• Tightening chest
• Tightening jaw
• Shallow breathing
• Uncomfortable heartbeat
• dizziness or light-headedness
• Anxious sweating
• feeling unpleasantly emotional
• feeling drained of energy
• feeling deflated
• feeling exhausted before you even start
• body recoils
• flinching at the thought
• feeling angry
• feeling resentful
• Having angry conversations in your head
• feeling resistance
• Shoulders tighten as though preparing to fight, or like armor • feeling like crying
• feeling trapped.
• feeling like life is hopeless or purposeless
• checking out emotionally or mentally
• Numbing out
• feeling bland
• being on autopilot
• losing motivation
• feeling powerless
• feeling that things are very difficult
• Seeing more problems than solutions
• feeling that the world is scary
• feeling scared and overwhelmed at the thought of living many more years
Ways you’ll know if your inner guidance is a ‘Yes’:

- A sense of lifting in your chest and throat

- Spontaneously taking a deep breath in and then softening as you breathe out

- feeling excited 
- being energized and motivated to take action

- Having hope for your life/ your task/ the future 
- believing that all is well 
- feeling reassured 
- being calm 
- feeling full of love 
- feeling good about others 
- loving others and seeing the best in them 
- looking forward to more 
- finding difficulties manageable 
- Seeing more solutions than problems 
- Seeing things clearly and lovingly 
- Wanting to do something 
- feeling honored to live your life 
- Accepting a decision as if it were a gift 
- Thinking that life is great 
- Anticipating good things ahead 
- feeling alive 
- feeling real wonder at small things 
- feeling awe at the way life works 
- feeling joy 
- being at peace 
If you think you have to get a great job or fall in love to feel all these positive things...
You don't.
If you just listen to your inner guidance and follow it, you’ll experience happiness and satisfaction with every choice.
It feels good to be listened to.
It makes you fall in love with yourself.
This can be your daily life.
You just have to listen to your 'Yes' and 'No'.
