Subject: Don't fight it off!

And my first live workshop in ages!

Don't fight it off!

Life keeps happening, doesn't it?

Just when you think you've got the hang of one thing, another thing comes up and off you go, trying to figure out this new challenge.

I witness people living their lives and I've noticed something important about how people deal with life events.

There seems to be something that makes some people more likely to thrive and succeed and gain more confidence when faced with life challenges and changes.

And the people who don’t do this, tend to fumble and freeze and feel constantly overwhelmed with each new challenge.

What I've seen is this:

When change comes, some people actively work with it.

They step into the challenge and look for the tools and help they need to get through it best.

These people seem to eventually reap benefits from every change that happens in their life – even when it’s unexpected or unwanted.

Then, there are other people who try to ignore it and pretend it's not happening.

And they seem to find themselves surprised, overwhelmed and unprepared for what comes next.

(If you're thinking, "Yikes, I'm the second one!" don't worry. I’ve got you.)

What I'm saying is, when difficult stuff happens to you, try to step into it and work with it.

Don't fight it off.

It doesn't help you at all. In fact, it makes things so much harder.

It's true that some people are just born with that gung-ho attitude and ability to face challenges – but the good news is, it is a skill which can be learned.

Which means anyone can be more like that.

You need to do it in your own way, and in your own style.

You don't have to be able to Bruce Lee the thing!

Piglet was also hailed as a hero and called a Very Brave Animal in the Hundred Acre Wood.

Now, I'm very excited to tell you that next Sunday I'm teaching a wonderful group of women exactly how to actively love themselves through changes and challenges.

It’s the first time in ages that I’m offering a live workshop that’s not just for healthcare practitioners and I'm delighted about it.

You can still join us.

It's a short workshop, but it could change your life.

Because you're going to learn how to really, really love yourself in challenging times.
