Poland Colorist Mixer


iColorist + Color Society are hosting a Mixer in parallel with Filmlight Colour Awards and the EnergaCAMERIMAGE International Film Festival!

Meet colleagues and friends, chat about the industry, and have a good time. Free and open to all, the mixer will happen on Monday, November 18 from 6 - 10pm CET at Restauracja Nova in Toruń.


The event will include a panel discussion entitled When the Art of Cinema Meets the Science of Perception with Filmlight Colour Awards finalists and judges discussing the awards and the festival.


Panelists will include:

  • Dirk Meier, FilmLight Jury member and freelance colourist and lecturer

  • Charles Poynton, PhD, color scientist

  • Kevin Shaw, CSI, Colorist Society Founder and President, colorist instructor.

The Color Grading landscape has changed a huge amount since 2006. So how did the very first resolve training classes come about? It all started when Warren saw a demo of daVinci Resolve in 2005.
