Welcome to our November ICA newsletter.
Hawaii is a beautiful memory, Halloween has spooked us and gone, which means the holiday season is just around the corner. The ICA World Tour has ended. It started back in July in Melbourne and finished last week in Brooklyn. We would like to thank all students, training partners and ICA friends that joined us on the journey. The ICA team are working on the 2020 schedule as we speak, including the 2020 European Colorist Summit. Look out for news on this and other new locations in coming newsletters. Warren and Kevin.

ICA MEMBERS.
The ICA members scheme is for ICA students only. It acts as a digital certificate of your class. You’ll get a bio and links to your website and showreel. You will also get access to special discounts from our sponsors, AbelCine, Portrait Displays, Flanders Scientific, ASUS, Blackmagic, Dolby and FXPHD. Memberships can be backdated, just send us a copy of your certificate and the date of your class before you apply. 10 years of classes means we have met 1000s of students and sometimes need a reminder.

SPANISH SHOW BOOMING!
My recent trips to Bogota and Madrid highlighted what a huge market this is. Netflix billboards all over both cities showcasing Spanish speaking shows with English subtitles. I am very pleased to announce all four of my FXPHD classes are now available with Spanish Subtitles.

SIMON WALKER IN JAPAN.
He'll be running a three hour session on the meaning of colour:
"This presentation looks at the different meanings of color, and how those meanings can change depending on context and culture, with practical examples from a range of movies and animations. It covers color corrections and grades for different locations at different times of day, ranging from interior spaces to outside landscapes with the emphasis on lighting, light source and color, including the way our eyes interpret light, and how that has a direct influence in modern film-making."

HAWAII, COLORIST SUMMIT.
The second ICA Colorist Summit took place in Waikiki during October. The Summit mission is to go to places not normally on the ICA roster. In 2017 we were in Bali and received great support from locals and international students. Hawaii was no different. We had guests visiting from London, Amsterdam, Taipei and LA mixing with local Hawaiians.
