Welcome to our 2020 pre NAB newsletter. We have so many exciting things happening that it is a shame that COVID-19 is casting a shadow over all our lives.

We are taking the threat very seriously, and monitoring events and advice closely. My Italian classes are going ahead next week, class sizes are small but the hosts have assured us that there are no cases in Florence, business is as usual, and there have been no flight cancellations – still time to book if you like smaller, more personal classes. All students will get face masks and hand wipes.

Similarly, NAB is still a big show for us and based on the advice of the organisers we are fully committed.  ICA is presenting a very special Colorist Mixer on Saturday night, with some of our best prizes yet. CSI is hosting a Birds of a Feather on Monday on Display technologies. If you have to choose or use a reference display you won’t want to miss this. And there will be drinks and networking afterwards.

The role of the colorist includes delivering in the face of difficulty. That’s what we do.  We look forward to seeing you at a show, in a class or on a job. And don’t forget we offer online consultations if you are unable to travel.
