Subject: Writing Contests

"Write a short story every week. It's not possible to write 52 bad short stories in a row.”

~Ray Bradbury, author & screenwriter, 1920-2012

For writers looking for fun ways to challenge yourself and get your work out there while possibly even winning prize money, these might be fun to check out.

Just BEWARE of the potential of being pulled off course of what you’re working on (or aspire to be working on), versus the next new thing that might be interesting.

Contests can be fun, helpful and even lucrative, but they can also be diversions from your primary goal. So consider carefully, which it is for you before signing up.
