Dear Friend,
The retreat was fantastical, restorative and exceptionally elevating. #grateful.
However, the day after I returned, my 87 y/o terminally ill mother, had taken a new down-turn in capabilities and wellness. Subsequently, my brother and I are now alternating 24/7 in her care, with other family members filling in and supporting here and there.
I’m grateful that his circumstances allow him flexibility to be available, and that my mother lives next door to me, plus my work is online, so that I can do it from anywhere.
Sooo... while I may not be able to post regularly, I will post as able.
My mother isn’t sad. She’s ready to go, and doesn’t want to stick around if she can’t be independent. So we hope for her, the best possible release from this body, as she plans and imagines her next life.
I hope you are well and creating a beautiful day today. And again tomorrow. One day at a time.
