Light and love, family and togetherness, generosity and forgiveness, sharing and caring… no matter your tradition or spiritual background, these are all HUMAN things that unite and elevate us all.

These are traits that uplift any time they’re applied… each day they are employed, each environment and every relationship.

These elevate all life, even when we can’t see it.

These may be the reason for the season. However, just as the birth of Christ was for the awakening of Love and Light in the heart of humanity, this season is an opportunity… a reminder that we can imbue these qualities in each day, come what may.

I like to add that last part — “come what may” — not just for the cadence, but for the vital lesson of remembering to give these, share these and BE THESE, especially when it’s difficult.

That’s when we grow by leaps and bounds and the heart expands in JOY.
