MOTIVATED MONDAY GREETINGS!
Enjoy dancing through your day today!
Skip through your house or to the mailbox. Pretend you’re jumping through a hopscotch board of chalk on the side walk, (or actually draw one out). Tune into music that inspires you to sing and dance.
It never fails… when we do these things — whatever things light you up and inspire — a smile lights our face, and we pick up our pace and feel better the rest of the day.
And this… this transformation is available to us any moment of any day that we decide to employ it.
Just consider how your day will be different if you will dance through your day today. Set a timer for every hour and when it goes off do a little jig and you will revive and come more alive.
If you’re at work and can’t do this for fear of looking foolish, then put your earbuds on with some favorite rock and roll (or whatever makes you leap to your feet).
Take a brisk walk while listening and notice how you pick up speed… and maybe, when no one is looking (or even if they are), you could kick up your heels! Don't worry about feeling silly. You didn't worry about this as a child, and you needn't worry about it now.
Just once… give it a try and see how different you begin to feel.
But do be careful and start slowly if you haven’t moved like this is awhile... injuries are not a part of this exercise! :-)
