It feels right to continue the flow of gratitude, through this last day of November. But of course we won't stop there, and hope you will continue your gratitude journey as well.
For the days when it's hard to muster gratitude, try this: The next time you're feeling especially upbeat and positive and in love with life, make a gratitude list of anything and everything you can think of for which to be grateful. From toothpaste and showers to warm beds in winter... loved ones and furry friends... sunrises and songbirds. Everything.
Now you have your go-to list for when you're feeling down and can't seem to muster anything for which to feel grateful.
If you have time, cut these gratitudes into little "fortune cookie" style strips, (folded or open), and place them in a jar. Then on those days when you need a kick in the gratitude you can pull one or more randomly from the jar to help you change you state. |
