“Imagination is the beginning of creation. You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine, and at last you create what you will.” ~George Bernard Shaw, Irish playwright, critic, polemicist, 1856-1950
SOULFUL SUNDAY, SUNSHINE!
CREATING GOOD A couple months ago we wrote about finding the good in the bad and as you well know by now, we’re big on positivity, optimism and empowerment. BECAUSE IT WORKS, if practiced diligently and daily.
And… because there is no skill more practical, powerful and phenomenal than the discovery and realization that we can create a better life through the thoughts we choose to focus on.
By focusing on the good, we thwart the bad, as well as minimize its ability to knock us down and keep us there.
PERSPECTIVE Several articles from this week have spoken to the significance of perspective and context. So it seems a good time to share this poignant essay on perspective.
We hope you find it as relevant and helpfully reorienting as we have.
Imagine You Were Born in 1900, written by Colleen Duggen, July 5, 2020.
Colleen Duggen’s concluding paragraph: Perspective is an amazing art. Let’s try and keep things in perspective. Let’s be smart, help each other out, and we will get through all of this. In the history of the world, there has never been a storm that lasted. This too shall pass.
