Subject: Just Breathe

Many are struggling during these intense times.

However, as indicated in yesterday's email, we can turn struggles and frustrations into creations.

Shannon Schofield has done just that with writing, including a few good poems, one of which is shared here.

JUST BREATHE

Frenzied feelings in a whirl

Heightened heart in a swirl

All the truths will be unfurled

My dear, just breathe

Tormenting thoughts on your mind

Rivers rushing through all time

All the birds sing in kind

My dear, just breathe

Wafty whispers come to pass

Deafening drums are enmasse

Only you can surpass

My dear, just breathe

Mindful memory you will see

As loose leaves fall from trees

Your heart and soul will come to be

My dear, just breathe

As the sun will come to set

All your needs you see are met

Now let go of all regret

My dear, just breathe

You will sleep and now you know

Another way for you to grow

To the world, you will show

My dear, just breathe

PROMPT IDEAS:

Eyes closed. Breathe in deeply and exhale completely, 3x:

  • Visualize breathing in deeply as a diamond white light flows into you from your crown chakra to solar plexus.

  • Exhale radiant light (allow colors to flow too if that is what comes through for you)

Create whatever comes to mind in your preferred medium.
