Easy relationships are wonderful. You know the kind. They uplift us and rapport flows easily.

We should all be so fortunate to have these, and hopefully and especially with those closest around us. 

However, it doesn’t always happen that way.

But it is working through challenging relationships that we grow the most. Not by trying to change or fix the other, but by loving and accepting them for who they are and the lessons they’re working through.

So I wish for you beautiful and easy relationships. And for those that aren’t, may you find ease within yourself through love and acceptance and the release of any need to change or fix them for you to be okay.  

It’s not what happens to us, it’s how we react to what happens to us that makes the difference.

And we can love, even — and especially — when it isn't easy to, for there awaits our greatest growth.
