One of the simplest, most effective tools for positive change is the concept of redirection.
In NLP (neuro linguistic programming), the therapist typically redirects the client’s obsessions and mindset through simple redirects.

The redirection concept works for just about anything we apply it to. When something isn’t working, we need to do something else. When we get stuck, we need to move, to shift, to change our state and our space to shake things up.

When we’re in the doldrums about the chasm between where we are to where we want to go, we need to shift focus away to celebrate how far we’ve come.

Focus on the gains not the gaps.

If you’re trying to lose weight or eat healthier, then the simplest way to turn that corner is to focus on what you love that you can have, and fill up on those first.
