We have some good news and some bad news.
First the BadSome of you may have seen in the
iCD Facebook Group, mention that ALL of our websites were hijacked. :-(
It’s just one of the many things that can go wrong in the online world. Our hosting service has worked hard to help with this issue, clearing out the bad code, only to have it apparently auto-reload itself within the hour.
In this instance, it doesn’t appear to be any really bad malware. What happens is the bad code redirects traffic to other sites whenever someone clicks on any of our articles resulting in lost revenue for the sites we own that monetize through ads and affiliate links, and inconvenience to those just wanting to read our articles.
Now the GoodWe listened to this FANTASTIC interview on Mike Dillard’s Self Made Man podcast. Mike interviewed Seth Godin on the new frontier of marketing in today's noisy, crowded, and info-overloaded world.
Seth shares his insights on how creators’ might consider focusing less on “being on every social platform” and more on … *drum roll* …consistency in creating and showing up for your audience.
You’ll be glad that Seth also says not to worry about being everywhere. That’s not your job. Instead, choose one and go with it!
