PROMPT: What is the Life I Want to Live?

This performance brings tears to my eyes. There’s so much powerful transformation in it, and a true testament to what creativity poured into positive effort can achieve.

One of my dreams is to create programs and places for young people to go for this kind of transformation and brotherhood/sisterhood.

A right of passage tradition is missing in the culture of this era. Subsequently, many youth struggle and suffer.

These young men have created their own. We can only marvel at their determination and capacity to do so in the midst of negativity, danger and hopelessness. Yet they persevered to create a new destiny for themselves.

There’s so much more that could be said about them and the life they’re forging, and the lives that will be transformed through their example of creative power.

But for now, I leave you to enjoy and be inspired and fortified into more of what’s possible for you.
