Social media is the new marketing… the new PR. In fact it has significantly moved in on the territory of PR and traditional press releases, though many still use those mediums. But which are the best social media platforms for creators?

NEW MARKETING - NEW JOBS Yes… people get paid to manage social media accounts. In fact, that’s an earning option for creators, and that market is only growing.
That’s enough to tell us that social media marketing is not just a Facebook thing or a passing fad. And it’s far, far more than just a social platform for connecting with kindred spirits.

FIND
We don’t want to send you away… we love it when you share in iCreateDaily group or page as much as you want too.
However, we would be remiss in not letting you all know of opportunities that may serve you.
Shannon Billings Schofield and Susan Carpenter have been so kind and diligent in serving our Planting for Retirement Facebook group as volunteers. We don’t have the budget to pay for that yet, but other, larger brands do.
So if you’d like to earn money doing what you’re naturally inclined to be doing on social media, all you need to do is set up a freelancer profile on one of the available platforms.
HERE’S AN EXAMPLE: A starting social media position of $15-$20 / hour on UpWork for: “...an excellent writer who has a command of social media, and who can create cool content and help us build followers. An arts-based candidate would be ideal, since we are a live storytelling/music show that offers storytelling coaching and workshops…”
And of course the more experienced, the more you can earn.
E.g., Devani’s rate as a SM manager starts at $50/hr and as a SM strategist starts at $75/hr. For sessions with the two of us together, coaching starts at $125/hr
Interested, but not sure what how to do it? Since you already know how to post on social, learning the management aspects are just a few soft skills away.
If you really love doing this there are programs that certify you at increasing levels of social media where you can become a social strategist for the highest paying clients.
If folks are interested, let us know, we can create a free training on what you’ll need to know to become a social media manager, such as Devani is for her clients.
