Wonderful Challenge Eve Greetings, Creator!

What is Intuitive Art and What are Conceptual Prompts?

Conceptual prompts are ideas or concepts conveyed through various mediums that inspire creative imagination, ideation and reflection. These are our favorite creative prompts because they invoke intuitive creativity from the inside out.

Intuitive art is to create through the free flow of impressions from within. You can expand your access to creative intuition by probing and acting on your inner perceptions.

Intuitive creativity utilizes conceptual prompts to guide the creator toward discoveries through reflection and pondering. Observe, ponder and reflect and then listen to the inner response.

Some of the prompts may not stir ideas initially. If that’s the case, no worries. Just choose one word to ponder and reflect upon to see what simmers to the surface.

Reflecting on conceptual prompts opens mind space and helps to awaken slumbering intuition. It is more about bringing out what is within than the specific tool or prompt.

To ponder an idea, word or concept and submit it to your mind is like a phone call to your muse, inviting her to answer and share her thoughts. So once you place that call, be sure to listen. Sometimes the listening is your hand to page or canvas... awaiting the muse to guide you.

With intuitive art we try to get out of the way and let the dialogue ensue between idea and spirit.

MORNING PROMPT EMAILS:

To save space in the Subject Line, of each day’s post will contain our iArtDaily hashtag and the day number. E.g.: #iArtDaily - DAY 1: [Subject], rather than the full Challenge name.

Each prompt will say:
Ponder the following:
Create whatever
you’re inspired to,
using your chosen medium.

No matter the time of day that you create your art, we hope you’ll take a photo and share that in the comments section of the day’s post in the Facebook Challenge group and please Include any comments, captions, or stories around it. If you’re a writer, you’re welcome to photograph your written page or document, or paste in up to 300 words of text.

Please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions. I'm here for you.

Create the life you want to live, one day at a time.
