Travel is wonderful because it takes us out of our routine, which immediately and automatically elevates our awareness.

Think about your last lovely trip to a new place. Every street and everything on the street is eagerly observed with interest and anticipation. You’re traveling through lovely places and spaces that you choose to visit, and likely avoiding the ghettos, (unless you are there to serve).

You’re looking with new eyes and awareness at all that is before you, and you feel refreshed, renewed and more alive through this awareness.

Here’s the good news: we can travel through each day as travelers, looking through the eyes of awe and wonder.

We can do this without leaving our chair or our home. We can do this when we’re driving our usual route to work or to the store. We can do this at any moment in any time and place.

And there, in that place of mind, we will be greeted by more for which to be in wonder and awe.

The universe is embracing and supporting you as you open to it through awe and gratitude at the wonders in and around you.
