Dear Families,
This month, Christians around the world will celebrate Christ's resurrection. The testimony of the power of Christ's resurrection in the life of a young man who was running from God and was facing death was shared at last year's Family Conferences. That young man was one of our conference speakers, evangelist Tim Lee.
Former U.S. Marine and evangelist Tim Lee has a riveting testimony. Raised in the home of a pastor, Tim put his faith in Jesus Christ when he was ten years old. However, as he grew older, he became hostile toward all authority. In 1969, Tim joined the Marine Corps to escape the world around him while also trying to run from God. While in Vietnam in 1971, a routine mine sweep ended in disaster when a land mine exploded, nearly taking Tim's life and destroying both his legs. The days of Tim's running were over. The rebellious young man realized his need to fully surrender his life to God.

In this month's message titled “Your Story,” Tim Lee shares his testimony. He goes further and speaks about how Satan wants your children at any price. He contends that it is worth the great effort and sacrifice to invest in the lives of your children. In the message, Tim reminds us that the Bible is the Word of God—the only true and living God—and tells the only single way to go to heaven. The resurrection of Jesus Christ makes Christianity unique from all other religions. Christ rose victorious over sin and death, and is alive today!
