Consider the country of Taiwan: Sponsors are looking for young people who will serve for 11-months as a volunteer English TESOL teacher, and they will cover nearly all your expenses! Since 2001, VOICE Missions has been giving Christian young people the opportunity to make God's name known in this tropical country.

VOICE Missions is a group of Christ followers intent on sharing His love and truth with the people of Taiwan. We see each student as precious as we volunteer in public schools, villages, English camps, and many other places. We're all about teaching English, sharing God's love with those around us, and encouraging each child to learn more.

Because of the value of the services VOICE volunteers provide to their communities, local business and government sponsors cover most of the expenses of a VOICE trip. You will need to cover all the costs of meeting the prerequisites to be a TESOL Teacher. But sponsors cover the cost of your airfare to and from Taiwan, and you will receive a monthly stipend that will be enough to provide for all of your living expenses while you are there.

What is the island of Taiwan like? Tropical, small, mountainous, rainy, humid, first world, safe, beautiful, and a blast to explore.
What are the Taiwanese people like? The Taiwanese are very friendly and interested in foreigners, so building friendships is easy.

A VOICE trip is not a normal short term mission trip. You must be prepared to live and minister on a team for up to 11 months. With this in mind, we carefully consider all of our applicants, looking for people with good character, spiritual maturity, and a willingness to serve.

What are the Prerequisites?
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have a valid passport
- Pass a background check
- Complete our TESOL training course held yearly in Oklahoma City (July 13–30, 2016)
