We are excited to announce a new initiative to provide a family conference keynote message each month. The September “Message of the Month” begins with Steve Scheibner describing how he narrowly missed piloting the fateful AA flight 11 on 9/11, and how through that event God redirected his life purpose to equip families. The October Message of the Month will be Dr. Josef Tson's presentation entitled "No Fear in Love." Dr. Tson is a man who has experienced persecution and suffering for his faith. His inspiring message, like Steve Scheibner's, is from the 2018 Big Sandy conference. An email with the link to the monthly message will be sent to you from our Family Conferences email list. | Introducing the Life Series!
The Life Series is a five-part video presentation that delves into the riches of I Corinthians 13:13: “And now abideth faith, hope, love; these three…” Intended for small group study, The Life Series was designed to be viewed in a group setting. Accompanied with workbook study questions in order to catalyze group discussion, this video series is perfect for presentation in Sunday schools, church small group classes, or Bible studies held at home. | COMMIT Conference in Texas Hosts Mothers and Daughters
The COMMIT Conference’s first session began with Mrs. Jenna Dee Martin and her adult daughters, Taryn and Mirren, sharing what it means to be a “daughter of the King.” The three ladies reminded the group of the need for salvation and the resulting riches in Christ that are available to believers. The Martins also spoke about Biblical principles that apply to how women use their time, especially in light of the technology present in our world today. Their final session looked at what is Biblical friendship. Sisters Taryn and Mirren were popular with the young ladies, and Mrs. Martin’s wealth of wisdom was appreciated by the mothers. | Spiritually Encouraging August Northwoods Conference
The second Northwoods Family Conference of the year took place August 28–31, 2018. Families filled the Northwoods Conference Center to hear several speakers, including Keith and Jenny Daniel who traveled from South Africa. Also present was Jerry Benjamin, who spoke on the importance of having Christ at the center of every aspect of our lives. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar shared several of their classic messages on marriage and parenting, along with a new message highlighting the importance of young people being prepared for their future. Otto Koning shared several messages as well. As always, his messages were timely and appreciated. Several other speakers gave presentations, accented by some of the best video messages from the three previous 2018 conferences. Read more. . . |
